FAQs
What do we supply for overnight boarding?
The owner needs to provide the necessary equipment i.e bedding, transport harness, collars, leads, poo bags, grooming equipment, food, treats and any relevant medication. This will make it a more stress free drop off.
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
You’re welcome to message us anytime for an update on your doodle. We send daily updates and photos so you can see how they’re settling in and enjoying their stay.
My pet has a special diet can this be accommodated?
Yes, we accommodate any dietary needs. You supply your dog’s usual food, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Is a Meet & Greet necessary?
Yes, a site visit is essential for both you to meet us and for us to assess suitability. It is necessary to book a trial night before the full boarding period. We find that for peace of mind most people like to do this and we welcome it.
You have to remember that your dog does not know you will be coming back when you leave them with us. So they can become anxious and they all react differently to this. Therefore it is good to give them time to understand this concept.
What dogs do you cater for?
We specialise in Poodles, Poodle crosses and other smaller breeds are considered. We want you to feel reassured that your doodle is in similar sized company. Stays are limited to 3 dogs at any time and we only board dogs who are two years and above.
How often do you walk the dogs?
We normally walk the dogs according to their needs. This is dependant on weather for the dogs comfort but we do walk most days rain or shine. We also tailor walks around the needs of the individual dog(s) as some may not cope on long walks. Also our secure paddock allows for off-lead socialising and play for tons of doggy enrichment.
